Surgery

Hi All.

Morgan will be having surgery this Wednesday to remove the plates from her hips that were put in last year. The surgeons will be going through the same incisions as last year's hip surgery for her hip dysplasia & unscrewing those "L" shaped brackets.

This should only be a same day surgery, maybe one night.

If you would please keep her in your thoughts & prayers, we would really appreciate it! Thanks everyone. Love to all.

Hard Day

Isaac is gone. And Sam still doesn't like to sleep. Noah is crazy, cute crazy though(well, peeing his bed isn't cute:)). And Morgan, she had a rough one today.

Once everyone goes to sleep, I finally sit down & the emotions take over. This was the 2nd time in 2 months I have called an ambulance for Morgan. There is nothing like being on the phone with the 911 operator while she is asking you if you know CPR & she tells you that paramedics are on their way. I do know CPR, but do I know it well enough to give my child?

Morgan's seizures have been getting worse. Super scary worse. The last 2 times we couldn't get them to stop. They lasted(well, which seems like forever) but at least 10-15 minutes, maybe more. When you're in the middle of it, you lose all concept of time. I give her the medicine to stop it today & nothing. Grand Mal Seizure! She gets to the point of you wondering if she is going to ever breathe again. Poor, sweet girl.

Noah, on the other hand. Got to ask a Police Officer all about his belt & take him in the toy room to play cars & then I heard him run down the hall as he said "Let's go to my room! Let's play choo-choos!" And the big gentlemen kindly obliged while he was holding Sam, who was just in a shirt & diaper:).

A BIG THANK YOU to our Orem Fire Department, Paramedics & Police Officers today. They are seriously wonderful.

And thank you to our friends & family that are always so willing to help. Thank you for watching the boys for a few hours today so me & Mo could snuggle & take a nap.


I hope & pray that Morgan will rest well tonight, at home. And that they are over. Please keep our sweet girl in your thoughts & prayers. Love to all.

7 Month Stats

So I took Sam in yesterday & he got 2 flu shots & 3 or 4 other ones & that oral one too. Let's just say he didn't sleep much last night & I'm one tired Mama who SHOULD be in bed:).

But here they are:

WEIGHT 20 LBS 2 OZ (75%)

HEIGHT 28 & 3/4 (come on, just say he's 29:))(90 something)

HEAD (?) (70%)

My baby boy is getting big fast. He sure is a cute little fella:). Who would really be happy if he was mobile, but he has a Mama for that & she gives lots & cuddles & kisses:).

I am so nervous & I can't wait! That competitive side in me can't wait to see what this almost 30 year old body of mine can do! I can't wait to see how training goes & to hopefully see how my body changes from all the working out!
